Hall of Heroes: For Rising or Current Middle School Students
The middle school years are a huge challenge. Students have a new-found independence, but they’re really still kids with a lot to learn, a lot of anxiety, and a lot of hormones.
As a parent, you do your best to help, but many life lessons happen outside of your view. What if you could observe your child’s decision making in over 15 different social scenarios? With the help of our online social and emotional skills game, Hall of Heroes, you can!
Within the game, students navigate the transition to a superhero middle school, including making new friends, dealing with peer pressure, and discovering their strengths. In addition, students will practice middle school readiness skills, such as locker combinations and getting to class on time. This simulated school environment allows students to acquire skills before trying them in real-world situations.
As an example, the scene below depicts a common source of anxiety for middle school students: choosing a seat in the lunchroom.
